Quick Answer

What is the Stem Cell Facial in Gangnam, and what does it do?

The Stem Cell Facial at RE:BERRY Gangnam is a physician-composed regenerative facial program: after Mark-Vu skin imaging and a dermal assessment, the doctor combines autologous blood therapy from the EVER YOUTH line, exosome application, and a CellREDM-class ECM booster — optionally paired with Potenza microneedle RF for delivery — to work on glow, surface texture, and dermal density. The composition varies with each skin reading, results build over a planned series, individual response varies, and pricing is quoted in writing at consultation. It is an aesthetic program, not a treatment for any disease.

Effects & Progress

Effects & Progress

The Stem Cell Facial is composed, not copied: the mix of autologous blood therapy, exosome application, and ECM booster is decided from your Mark-Vu imaging and dermal assessment, so each session follows your skin, not a fixed menu.

TimelineWhat to Expect
Right after

Mild redness and pinpoint marks may appear in the treated zones and generally settle within a day or two. Daily life — including travel — resumes the same day for most guests.

After 2 weeks

Glow and hydration changes are often the first thing guests notice as the skin settles; surface texture begins to feel smoother to the touch.

After 1–3 months

Texture and dermal density build gradually as the regenerative components integrate; the physician re-reads your skin before each session in the series. Response speed and degree vary by individual.

6–12 months

Maintenance period. The interval is planned from your skin's response at review, not from a fixed calendar; RE:BERRY will guide the rhythm that suits your skin and your travel schedule.

Treatment Process

Stem Cell Facial — 4 Steps from Consultation to Aftercare

※ Illustrative images are AI-generated to help explain the treatment process.
STEP 1

STEP 1. 1:1 Personal Consultation

Your physician reads your skin before anything is chosen: Mark-Vu imaging documents texture, pores, redness, and pigment, and a hands-on dermal assessment maps where density and elasticity have thinned. From that reading, the composition of your session is decided.

STEP 2

STEP 2. Cleansing & Numbing Cream

After cleansing, numbing cream rests for 20–30 minutes. The sealed product label is confirmed with you before opening.

STEP 3

STEP 3. Precision Dermal Injection

The physician delivers the chosen components in layers: the autologous fraction and ECM booster are placed where your dermal map shows depletion, and the exosome preparation is applied across the treated surface. Where deeper delivery is indicated, microneedle RF channels can be paired in the same plan.

STEP 4

STEP 4. Soothing Care & Aftercare Guide

Soothing care follows, and mild redness or pinpoint marks generally settle within a day or two — most guests resume daily life the same day. Glow tends to appear first, while texture and dermal density build gradually across the planned series.

Effects & Progress

Effects & Progress

Composed from Your Skin Reading

Skin rarely ages along a single axis — dullness, rough texture, and thinning dermal density usually arrive together, in different proportions for every face. The Stem Cell Facial answers that with composition instead of a fixed menu: after Mark-Vu imaging and a hands-on dermal assessment, the physician decides how much of the session leans on autologous blood therapy, exosome application, or the ECM booster, and where each belongs. Two guests rarely receive the same combination, and the composition is re-read before every session in a series.

Fine Lines & Pores

Clarity about the name comes first: the Stem Cell Facial is a regenerative program name, not a live stem-cell transplant, and no living stem cells are injected. What actually reaches your skin is your own blood fraction — drawn and processed on-site through the autologous line — together with a prepared exosome application and an extracellular-matrix (ECM) booster, each belonging to component families studied in regenerative dermatology. Sealed products are shown to you and confirmed before opening, and the program is an aesthetic skin-quality plan, not a treatment for any disease.

Texture & Glow

How the components arrive matters as much as what they are. The physician places the autologous fraction and ECM booster where your dermal map shows depletion and applies the exosome preparation across the treated surface — and where the skin reading calls for deeper delivery, microneedle RF is paired in the same plan, creating controlled micro-channels so the regenerative layer follows them into the dermis while the RF energy itself supports remodeling. The pairing is an option decided by your assessment, never a default, and every stage is handled by the same physician.

Gentle Entry, Gradual Build

As a facial-track program, this is one of the gentler entries into regenerative skin care: sessions fit a travel schedule, mild redness and pinpoint marks generally settle within a day or two, and most guests resume daily life the same day. The result follows a slower, realistic rhythm — glow and hydration changes are often noticed first, while surface texture and dermal density build gradually across the planned series as the components integrate. Response pace and degree vary by individual and cannot be promised, so the skin reading comes before the composition, every time.

Stem Cell Facial — 4 Steps from Consultation to Aftercare

※ Illustrative images are AI-generated to help explain the treatment process.
STEP 1. 1:1 Personal Consultation
STEP 1. 1:1 Personal Consultation

Your physician begins by reading how your skin has actually changed, not by handing you a menu: Mark-Vu facial imaging documents surface texture, pores, redness, and pigment under standardized light, and a hands-on dermal assessment maps where density and elasticity have thinned — cheeks, under-eye area, forehead, or jawline. From that reading, the physician decides which regenerative components your session calls for — autologous blood therapy, exosome application, an ECM booster, or a combination — and which it does not. Your consultation-based quote is prepared in writing from this assessment, and two guests rarely receive the same composition.

STEP 2. Cleansing & Numbing Cream
STEP 2. Cleansing & Numbing Cream

After cleansing, a topical anesthetic cream is applied and left to take effect so the session stays comfortable. If your composition includes the autologous component, a small blood draw is taken and processed on-site so that fraction of the session is your own material. Sealed exosome and ECM booster products are shown to you and confirmed before they are opened, so you can verify that everything used is genuine and officially distributed.

STEP 3. Precision Dermal Injection
STEP 3. Precision Dermal Injection

Following your personal skin map, the physician delivers the chosen components in layers: the autologous blood fraction and the ECM booster are placed where the dermal assessment shows depletion, and the exosome preparation is applied across the treated surface. Where your skin reading calls for deeper, channel-assisted delivery, microneedle RF can be paired in the same plan so the regenerative layer follows freshly created micro-channels. The session is not pain-free, but with the anesthetic cream most guests describe only brief pinprick or warmth sensations, and the physician paces every stage to your feedback.

STEP 4. Soothing Care & Aftercare Guide
STEP 4. Soothing Care & Aftercare Guide

Cooling and a calming finish follow the layered delivery, and any redness or small injection marks generally ease within a few days — avoid saunas, alcohol, and vigorous exercise on the day itself. Because the composition is re-read before each session, your physician plans the series spacing and any maintenance rhythm from how your skin responds at review.

Benefits & Results

What the Stem Cell Facial in Gangnam Works On — and How the Result Builds

  • Composed, not copied: the combination of autologous blood therapy, exosome application, and ECM booster is decided from your Mark-Vu imaging and dermal assessment — two guests rarely receive the same session
  • A gentler, facial-track entry into regenerative care: focused on glow, surface texture, and dermal density — structural lifting is a separate track — suited to skin that looks tired, dull, or thin
  • Your own biology where it counts: the EVER YOUTH autologous blood component is drawn from you and processed on-site, so that fraction of the session is your own material
  • Optional Potenza pairing: when the skin reading calls for deeper delivery, microneedle RF creates micro-channels in the same plan so the regenerative layer reaches further than surface application alone
  • One physician from the first skin reading through delivery to review — your Stem Cell Facial case in Gangnam is never passed to another practitioner mid-course
  • Clear framing before you book: this is an aesthetic program, not a disease treatment; composition varies per skin reading, results build over sessions, and outcomes cannot be promised

Why This Matters

These are not competing devices but different scopes: exosome application and autologous blood therapy are single components, while the Stem Cell Facial is the program that combines them — with an ECM booster and, where indicated, Potenza-assisted delivery — in one physician-designed session. Which scope fits you depends on what the skin reading shows, which is why analysis comes before any composition is named.

The name deserves a frank note: the Stem Cell Facial is a regenerative program name, not a live stem-cell transplant. What is actually delivered is your own processed blood fraction, an exosome preparation, and an extracellular-matrix booster — components studied in regenerative dermatology — composed for an aesthetic goal. RE:BERRY Gangnam states this plainly before you book.

Korea saw 1,170,000 international patients in 2024, and dermatology accounted for 56.6% of them (KHIDI). In a field that busy, continuity is the differentiator: at RE:BERRY the physician who reads your Mark-Vu images composes the session, delivers every component, and re-reads your skin at review — the same pair of hands from first reading to final review.

Best for: Skin that looks dull, rough, or thin in more than one way — wants glow, texture, and dermal density addressed together in one plan
Stem Cell Facial (composed program)
One physician-designed session combines autologous, exosome, and ECM components matched to your skin reading, so no single axis is treated in isolation
Best for: One clear, narrow goal — surface glow after a laser or microneedling step, or an autologous-only preference
Exosome or PRP as a single component
A single-component session keeps the plan simple when the skin reading shows one dominant need

The Evidence Behind the Stem Cell Facial's Regenerative Components

The Stem Cell Facial is built from components with independent research literatures, and accuracy about each matters. Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles that carry proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids between cells; the international MISEV2018 position statement defines how such vesicles should be characterized and studied, and reviews in bioengineering journals have mapped their emerging applications in medical aesthetics — an active field in which cosmetic exosome preparations in Korea are applied to the skin surface without injection.

Théry C, Witwer KW, Aikawa E, et al. Minimal information for studies of extracellular vesicles 2018 (MISEV2018): a position statement of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles. J Extracell Vesicles. 2018;7(1):1535750. doi:10.1080/20013078.2018.1535750

Clinical study of these components in aesthetic settings is growing. A prospective randomized split-face study in Korea combined a stem cell-derived exosome preparation with fractional CO2 laser for atrophic acne scarring and reported greater improvement on the exosome-treated side, illustrating the channel-assisted delivery logic that the optional Potenza pairing follows. A separate six-week clinical evaluation of topical platelet-derived exosomes for facial skin quality reported favorable tolerability and skin-appearance outcomes. For the autologous track, laboratory work on platelet-rich plasma has documented its effects on cultured human dermal fibroblasts — the cell type that produces collagen — which is the mechanistic basis claimed for autologous blood skin programs.

Kwon HH, Yang SH, Lee J, et al. Combination treatment with human adipose tissue stem cell-derived exosomes and fractional CO2 laser for acne scars: a 12-week prospective, double-blind, randomized, split-face study. Acta Derm Venereol. 2020;100(18):adv00310. doi:10.2340/00015555-3666

Kim DH, Je YJ, Kim CD, et al. Can platelet-rich plasma be used for skin rejuvenation? Evaluation of effects of platelet-rich plasma on human dermal fibroblast. Ann Dermatol. 2011;23(4):424-431. doi:10.5021/ad.2011.23.4.424

Two limits are stated plainly. First, microneedle radiofrequency — the Potenza pairing — has its own histological literature showing new collagen and elastin formation after fractional RF treatment — the basis for offering it as a delivery and remodeling adjunct, not a cosmetic extra. Second, the evidence base for combined regenerative facial programs as a whole is younger than for established energy devices: the components are studied, the composition is individualized, and results build over sessions with genuine individual variation. That is why RE:BERRY Gangnam frames the Stem Cell Facial as an aesthetic program — not a treatment for any disease — and reads your skin before proposing any composition.

Hantash BM, Ubeid AA, Chang H, Kafi R, Renton B. Bipolar fractional radiofrequency treatment induces neoelastogenesis and neocollagenesis. Lasers Surg Med. 2009;41(1):1-9. doi:10.1002/lsm.20731

Common Questions

Questions International Guests Ask About the Stem Cell Facial in Gangnam

How much does the Stem Cell Facial cost in Gangnam, Seoul?

Pricing is consultation-based: because the composition — autologous blood therapy, exosome application, ECM booster, and any Potenza pairing — is decided from your Mark-Vu imaging and dermal assessment, RE:BERRY Gangnam quotes one written figure after your skin analysis, and does not publish a fixed menu price. There are no add-on charges beyond the written quote, and nothing is scheduled until you confirm it. The home page lists the clinic's published treatment line-up.

Is the Stem Cell Facial an actual stem cell injection?

No — and RE:BERRY Gangnam states this plainly. The Stem Cell Facial is a regenerative program name: what is actually delivered is your own processed blood fraction from the EVER YOUTH line, a prepared exosome application, and an extracellular-matrix (ECM) booster. No living stem cells are injected. It is an aesthetic skin-quality program, not a disease treatment, and the exact composition varies with your skin reading.

What exactly goes into a Stem Cell Facial session?

Three component families, composed per person: an autologous blood therapy from the EVER YOUTH line, drawn from you and processed on-site; an exosome preparation applied across the treated surface; and a CellREDM-class ECM booster placed where your dermal map shows depletion. Where the skin reading calls for deeper delivery, Potenza microneedle RF can be paired in the same plan. Sealed products are shown to you and confirmed before opening.

How is the Stem Cell Facial different from an exosome treatment alone?

Scope: an exosome session is one component, while the Stem Cell Facial is the composed program around it.

FeatureStem Cell FacialExosome alone
ScopeComposed program of several componentsSingle component
Chosen whenGlow, texture, and density need one planSurface renewal is the main goal
MaterialYour blood fraction plus prepared componentsPrepared exosome product
If your skin reading shows one dominant need, the physician may recommend the single component instead — details on the exosome page.

When is Potenza added to the Stem Cell Facial, and why?

Potenza is a microneedle radiofrequency device: fine needles create controlled micro-channels while delivering RF energy to the dermis. When your assessment shows the regenerative layer needs to reach deeper than surface application allows — or that your texture would gain from RF remodeling itself — the physician pairs Potenza in the same plan, so the exosome and booster layer follows freshly created channels. It is an option decided by the skin reading, never a default; see the Potenza page for the device itself.

Does the Stem Cell Facial hurt?

It is not pain-free, but it sits at the gentler end of regenerative care: numbing cream is applied before any micro-injection or Potenza pass, the physician paces delivery to your feedback, and most guests describe brief pinprick or warmth sensations that fade quickly. Sensitivity varies by person and by which components your composition includes.

Is there downtime — can I keep my Seoul itinerary the same day?

Downtime is minimal for most guests: mild redness, and pinpoint marks where micro-injections or Potenza channels were placed, generally settle within a day or two. Most guests continue their itinerary the same day and avoid saunas, heavy alcohol, and strong sun for the first days. If Potenza is paired, the physician will tell you in advance if your plan needs a quieter first evening.

When will I see results from the Stem Cell Facial, and how long do they last?

Glow and hydration changes are usually noticed first, within the early weeks, while surface texture and dermal density build more gradually across the planned series as the components integrate. Duration depends on your skin, your series, and your maintenance rhythm — the physician sets the review interval from how your skin actually responds, with no fixed calendar involved. Individual variation is real, and outcomes cannot be promised.

How many sessions will I need?

That is decided from your skin, not a package: the physician proposes a series at consultation based on your Mark-Vu imaging and dermal assessment, then re-reads your skin before each session and adjusts the composition. Guests with mild dullness may need fewer sessions than those with thinning, crepey skin. The full series plan and its written quote are confirmed before anything is scheduled.

Am I a good candidate for the Stem Cell Facial?

Good candidates want skin-quality change — glow, smoother texture, better dermal density — through a gentler, needle-light program; structural lifting is a different goal. It suits tired, dull, or early-thinning skin. It is not scheduled during pregnancy, with active skin infection in the treatment area, or with certain blood conditions the physician screens for; deep sagging is redirected to lifting-class treatments instead. The assessment step exists precisely to tell you which track truly fits.

What aftercare does the Stem Cell Facial need once I fly home?

Aftercare is light: keep the skin clean and moisturized, avoid saunas, very hot showers, and strong sun for the first days, and use daily sun protection while the skin rebuilds. RE:BERRY Gangnam follows your progress on WhatsApp in English, reviewing your photos as the series develops and advising when your next session or review should fall.

Do I need a medical visa for a Stem Cell Facial in Korea?

For most nationalities, no dedicated medical visa is needed for an aesthetic clinic visit of this kind: travelers typically enter Korea visa-free with K-ETA or on a C-3 short-term visit visa, and a Stem Cell Facial consultation and session fit within an ordinary tourist stay. Longer or repeated medical stays can use the C-3-3 medical tourism route. Check the entry rules for your nationality before booking flights, and RE:BERRY can time your sessions around your itinerary.

How do I book as a foreign visitor, and where is the clinic?

Message RE:BERRY on WhatsApp with your skin concerns, photos, and travel dates — a coordinator replies in English as soon as possible and reserves a physician consultation slot; the clinic is reservation-only for international guests and staff interpreters cover 5 languages. RE:BERRY sits inside KI Tower on Gangnam-daero, a 2-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 10 on Seoul Metro Line 2, about 45-60 minutes from Incheon Airport by AREX plus subway or by direct taxi.

Why choose RE:BERRY Gangnam for a regenerative facial?

Because the order of operations protects you: skin analysis first, composition second, written quote third — and the same physician reads your Mark-Vu images, composes the session, delivers every component, and re-reads your skin at review. Products are sealed, genuine, and confirmed in front of you, the clinic states plainly that no live stem cells are injected, and the program is framed as what it is: an individualized aesthetic skin-quality plan whose results build over sessions.

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE

Science Stem Cell Facial regenerative components — peer-reviewed references

Each component of the Stem Cell Facial carries its own research literature, read on its own terms. Exosomes are defined and characterized under the international MISEV2018 position statement (Théry 2018), and their emerging aesthetic applications are mapped in bioengineering reviews (Zhang 2022). Clinically, a Korean prospective randomized split-face study reported greater improvement in atrophic acne scarring when a stem cell-derived exosome preparation was combined with fractional laser delivery (Kwon 2020), and a six-week evaluation of topical platelet-derived exosomes reported favorable tolerability and skin-appearance outcomes (Proffer 2022). For the autologous track, laboratory work has documented platelet-rich plasma's effects on cultured human dermal fibroblasts, the skin's collagen-producing cells (Kim 2011). The optional Potenza pairing rests on histological evidence that fractional radiofrequency induces new elastin and collagen formation (Hantash 2009). The combined-program evidence base remains younger than that of established single devices — a limit RE:BERRY states, never hides.

These references shape how the Stem Cell Facial is run at RE:BERRY's Gangnam aesthetic clinic: Mark-Vu imaging and a physician dermal assessment before any composition is proposed; components chosen from the studied families — autologous blood therapy, exosome application, ECM boosting, and channel-assisted RF delivery where indicated — in preference to a fixed menu; and photographic follow-up under standardized lighting as results build across the series. The program is aesthetic in purpose, individual response varies, and outcomes cannot be promised. This information is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice.
